With the phasing out of the popular NLE, FCP 7, Final Cut users have been considering their options. Many choices abound, including the new Final Cut X, Avid Media Composer, or Adobe’s Premiere Pro.
This meeting, held at Key Code Media, Burbank was designed to explore these options in depth. Experts including Christine Steele covering Adobe, Michael Krulik for Avid, and Victor Maldonado showing Apple Final Cut X make presentations of the resprective systems and the migration path. Special thanks to Kyle Peter for Operating TWO cameras, to Noah Mathers for supervising Sound Recording, and to Christopher Young and Art Freed of Hot Pixel Post for all postproduction services.
