ZEISS has announced their new Panoptes 65 lenses, a set of ten large format cinema primes designed to bring the ZEISS aesthetic to the 65mm format with natural colors, forgiving skin textures, gentle focus fall-off and a silky bokeh. The ten focal lengths, ranging from 25 to 180 mm, all feature a fast T2.2 aperture, high-end ergonomics, and full lens data support.

Specifically designed to cover 65mm sensor cameras with a 59.9mm image circle to cover cameras such as the ARRI Alexa 265, Blackmagic Design URSA Cine 17K 65, and Fujifilm GFX ETERNA 55. With professional workflows in mind, these lenses feature high-end ergonomics, standardized housing dimensions, and full ZEISS eXtended Data and the CinCraft ecosystem support. This ensures seamless integration into visual effects, camera tracking, and virtual production workflows, saving valuable time on set.

The T2.2 aperture strikes the perfect balance between speed and functionality, maintaining exceptional image quality even wide open, and with their great balance of precision and artistry, ZEISS Panoptes 65 lenses let cinematographers create larger-than-life visuals while maintaining full control over the image.
