ZEISS Cine Lenses celebrated the opening of their new showroom facility in Sherman Oaks the last week of March with VIP/Press tours and a huge open house.  Rather than a sales office, the venue is designed to serve the cinematography community by creating a state-of-the-art facility, complete with a showcase of cinema lenses, a Zeiss historical museum, a camera prep area, a lens projection bay, an 8K enabled edit suite, a lounge area, and a 4K HDR theater.

The new office is located in a secure high-rise building, so don’t expect to just pop in, but filmmakers by appointment can test Zeiss’s wide range of lens products with their own cameras, or on the large variety of high-end Digital Cinema cameras from manufacturers including ARRI, Panasonic, Canon, Sony, Blackmagic Design, and RED.  Footage can be edited and screened, all without leaving the facility.  Starting April 1st appointments with cinematographers who wish to experience the finest that ZEISS has to offer can be made by contacting Cinema Sales Manager, Snehal Patel at snehal.patel@zeiss.com.
