ZeissChozielServroZeiss has announced a new ZOOM servo drive unit specially designed for their Lightweight Zoom LWZ.3 by Chrosziel. The new servo unit allows shoulder mounted operation of the LWZ.3 as is often required for documentary cinematography.  Three captive screws keep the single servo drive unit permanently fixed onto the lens.  Direct control of the servo drive is accessible to the Sony FS5 / FS7 handgrip zoom rocker and other zoom rockers with LANC protocol.  Control commands are immediately looped through to the camera (e.g. menu / user buttons / focus magnification / camera run & stop).  Four zoom modes are selectable: EB / Documentary, Live / Hardcut, Silent, and Direct Mode.
