It is hard to express the great impact George Dibie had on my life, my career, and the Digital Cinema Society for which he was the inspiration. When he shared his age with me recently it was hard to believe he was 90 years old. He still had great vitality and a zest for life even near the end, truly like the energizer bunny. If you’re interested to know more about George’s many accomplishments and his impact on the Digital Cinema Society, please view this short video of him accepting a DCS award at the 2017 DCS Cinema Lighting Expo: https://vimeo.com/209454170
