Although the prime time Emmy awards have been postponed due to the Writers and Actors strikes, the Television Academy’s 75th Engineering, Science & Technology Emmy Awards are still slated to be presented on Oct. 18th in the usual time frame. The Digital Cinema Society is proud to announce that several Friends of DCS are included as Honorees. Thomas Riedel, Jake Dodson, Wolfgang Fritz and Jiou-Pahn Lee are to be awarded for the development of the Riedel Bolero wireless intercom while Greg Smokler, Jeffrey Gray, Russell Hocken, and Barrett Phillips are to be recognized for their SmallHD monitor platform.  A hearty congratulations to all the award winners for their work to advance motion picture and television technology.
