SIGMA Introduces Extremely Fast F1.8 Zoom Lens for Full-Frame Mirrorless Camera Systems

SIGMA has introduced the 28-45mm F1.8 DG DN | Art for Sony E-mount and L-Mount. It is said to be the first full-frame zoom with a constant F1.8 maximum aperture for exceptional low light performance and beautiful bokeh. Designed for both photographers and cinematographers, it features a lockable and de-clickable aperture ring with two autofocus lock buttons to keep important controls easily accessible. A new HLA linear focusing motor also enables fast, accurate autofocus required for such a wide aperture on full-frame mirrorless cameras. An internal zoom mechanism means the length of the lens doesn’t change as you zoom, which is ideal for use on a gimbal, while controlled focus breathing minimizes distracting field of view changes when racking focus.

The SIGMA 28-45mm F1.8 DG DN | Art lens will be available for $1,349 through authorized retailers in the US in late June 2024.
