The DCS annual “Focus on Cine Lenses from the Buyer’s POV” at Cine Gear Expo is where we gather virtually all the high-end cine lens manufacturers in one place at one time so that perspective buyers can see what’s available and compare their features.
We also discuss growing camera sensor sizes, anamorphic cinematography, and the increasing adoption of broadcast-style electronics in cinema lenses among other trends.
The panel is moderated by James Mathers and co-moderated by Matthew Duclos of Duclos Lenses. This year’s participants include, (in alphabetical order): Angénieux, ARRI, Canon, Fujinon, Laowa, Leitz, Sigma, and ZEISS.
