Now Streaming 2017 DCS Cinema Lighting Expo

Our streaming coverage of the 2017 DCS Cinema Lighting Expo, which took place March 4th at the IATSE Local 80 stage in Burbank, CA is now on-line. In addition to vendors presenting their latest technology, we bring you a presentation by David Stump, ASC on behalf of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on their new Spectral Similarity Index, (SSL), a comprehensive system for measuring the spectral characteristics of various motion picture lighting sources.

We also have coverage, (both traditional and 360º), of the presentation of our first DCS Service Award to George Spiro Dibie, ASC in recognition of his countless contributions to the Industry.
