The cinematic LED lighting manufacturer LiteGear has been acquired by Chauvet. They will join Kino Flo, previously acquired by Chauvet, in a new division to be known as the Chauvet Cinema Group which will focus on serving the needs of the motion picture lighting industry. LiteGear, known for its LiteMat line is the latest addition to Chauvet’s roster which also includes other notable brands including ChamSys. This merger brings together additional entertainment lighting technology to elevate cinematic lighting solutions.

The new Chauvet Cinema Group will be led by industry veteran Mike Wagner who was previously at LiteGear after spending many years with ARRI. The Chauvet Cinema Group will commence with the KinoFlo and LiteGear brands with plans for further expansion to include other brands serving the motion picture lighting community.
