ARRI has announced the debut of the HONOR Robot phone with elements of their Image Science being integrated, the first time in a mobile device. Working collaboratively, ARRI and HONOR have implemented ARRI LogC3, ARRI Wide Gamut 3, and ARRI Looks into the HONOR Robot Phone image pipeline with the idea of delivering more cinema-style image quality, greater creative control, and professional workflow options.

This integration of key elements of ARRI Image Science represents a new species of smartphone. It will carry the “co-engineered with ARRI” designation and bring ARRI’s established imaging expertise into mobile content creation empowering mobile content creators with easier access to professional imaging technologies.
