Godox has introduced the KNOWLED AM1600R, an 8′ x 8′ RGB Inflatable LED Light Mat. It offers a versatile full-color lighting solution for large-scale film and television set lighting. The AM1600R is made up of a durable inflatable butterfly frame that does not require any truss support for overhead use. This IP54-rated light allows for 8-PSI high-pressure quick inflation and can be suspended for up to 15 days without reinflation. The AM1600R also features multiple lighting modes and allows CCT selection from a wide 1800 to 10,000K, as well as +/- green/magenta color correction. The large 8′ x 8′ body produces bright, yet soft, lighting with two included diffusers, packing various other modifiers such as a pancake lantern, a grid, and a skirt to meet the different needs of lighting designers. Godox includes the air pump and other essential accessories in a robust flight case.

The AM1600R enables precise color control with CCT, HSI, RGBW, GEL, and FX modes, as well as green/magenta shift from -100 to +100% for fine tint control. It also features a thousand-bit brightness adjustment from 0 to 100% and access to four dimming curves—linear, S-curve, exponential, and logarithmic. Users can also choose among default, smooth, and off smoothing settings. The light operates in conjunction with the included controller box and runs on universal 100 to 240 VAC for worldwide use. The AM1600R has multiple industry-standard and advanced control methods, such as wired DMX512, RDM, or wireless LumenRadio CRMX. Additionally, Ethernet control supports the Art-Net and sACN protocols and can also be controlled via Bluetooth using the Godox Light or Godox KNOWLED apps from up to 196′ away.
