DCS Event: The Economics and Aesthetics of Shooting Indie Films on Film

by | Sep 6, 2014 | News | 0 comments

There has been a sea change for feature film acquisition in the last decade moving from primarily celluloid to digital capture.  A number of established Directors, from Steven Spielberg to Christopher Nolan have the clout to insist on shooting film, but Indie Filmmakers might fear this will be out of their reach.

In this event we will explore the economics of acquiring Indie Films on celluloid and demonstrate how film may still be the right choice for many projects.    Representatives from Panavision and Kodak will be joined by Filmmakers who have had recent success shooting on film for a group discussion on the Economics and Aesthetics of Shooting Films on Film.
