Yvette Nicole Brown and Television Academy Chairman Frank Scherma have announced the nominees for the 75th Emmy Awards. DCS congratulates our members who have been nominated for 2023 Primetime Emmy Awards. They include:
• M. David Mullen, ASC, for his work as Director of Photography in the category of Outstanding Cinematography For A Series (One Hour) for the Four Minutes episode of the Amazon Studios series, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
• Sean Porter for his work as Director of Photography in the category of Outstanding Cinematography For A Series (One Hour) for the “I“ episode of FX series The Old Man
• Gary Baum, ASC, for his work as Director of Photography in the category of Outstanding Cinematography For A Series (Half-Hour) for the Daddy episode of the Hulu series How I Met Your Father
• Ian Kerr, CSC for Outstanding Cinematography For A Reality Program as part of the camera team for the CBS series The Amazing Race
The two-night Creative Arts Emmys are currently scheduled to take place on Sept. 9 and Sept. 10, with the ceremonies being broadcast by FXX on Sept. 10. However, uncertainty regarding industry labor actions may force a postponement.
