Ahead of NAB 2026, Canon is introducing the CINE-SERVO 40-1200mm T5.0–10.8 PL and the CINE-SERVO 40-1200mm T5.0–10.8 RF. The new lenses offer unprecedented focal range with high-end optics in a lightweight and compact design. The built-in 1.5x extender allows the lens to reach an 1800mm equivalent focal length on Super 35mm sensors as well as further expanding its versatility by covering full-frame sensor cameras when the extender is employed. The drive unit has been redesigned with Focus Breathing Compensation and a newly-added USB-C terminal. When paired with USB‑PD, it increases the speed of the zoom and focus servo motor.
