DaVinciAt NAB Blackmagic unveiled version 11 of their world-renowned color correction software, DaVinci Resolve.  New features include multi-GPU, real-time performance, improved online editing, and it adds context-sensitive trimming.   Also added are new features to make the DIT life a little easier in both the media management and color correction categories including onset file cloning, check-sum verifications, plus the ability to directly apply LUTs and change aspect ratios for large amounts of footage.

In terms of color correction, Blackmagic has added a feature known as “Automatic Color Match” that helps quickly match multiple cameras and multiple formats plus a photographer-style color grading tool set, and new collaborative workflows.   DaVinci Resolve 11 will be available in June.
