Blackmagic Camera for iOS 3.2 Adds Support for Live Streaming

by | Nov 6, 2025 | News | 0 comments

Blackmagic has announced their Camera for iOS 3.2 software update adds support for live streaming directly to YouTube, Vimeo and Twitch. This makes it extremely easy to go live straight from your iPhone, without needing any additional hardware or third-party apps. Whether you’re streaming to YouTube, Vimeo or Twitch, you can quickly select your platform, enter your stream key and start broadcasting in professional quality.

This update also adds support for SRT streaming from Blackmagic Camera for iOS, allowing you to send high quality, low latency video directly to devices such as the Blackmagic Streaming Decoder, or to other SRT compatible systems in broadcast and production environments. That makes it perfect for remote production, news gathering or live event coverage.

In addition, there are now more detailed notifications when using external storage, so you’ll immediately see alerts if a drive is removed during recording, standby or upload, making it easier to manage your media on set.
