Sigma has announced the release of their new 70-200mm f/2.8 DG DN OS Sports Lens designed for full-frame mirrorless cameras. Combined with the previously released 14-24mm F2.8 DG DN Art and the 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN Art, these three zoom lenses for full-frame mirrorless cameras offer a f/2.8 constant aperture over a wide range of focal lengths. The large f/2.8 aperture combined with dual HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) motors for high-speed autofocus, and 7.5 stops of image stabilization allow reliable low-light performance. The weather resistance of Sigma’s Sports line also means they can be used in the most demanding physical locations. Features include:
– High-speed AF and optical stabilizer function with “OS2” algorithm for 7.5 stops of correction
-Aperture ring with click and lock switches-Tripod socket to distribute weight evenly
-11 Blade iris
-Carbon fiber-reinforced plastic lens hood
-Six custom switches include:
- AFL button
- Focus mode switch
- Focus limiter switch
- OS switch
- Custom mode switch
- Aperture ring click switch
The lens will retail for $1,499 USD and will be available through authorized retailers on December 7, 2023. Learn more about the SIGMA 70-200mm F2.8 DG DN OS | Sports lens:
